OK it’s time for a tutorial and this is one of our all time favourites – glass tile pendants. I use these for making jewellery – pendants, rings, earrings; they also make great brooches and magnets. Super quick and easy and once you’ve mastered it, quite addictive. Making glass tile pendants is probably the most popular of the Sew Crafty Goodness workshops I run as the results are instant and you don’t need any special skills to get really effective results. Here are a couple of links to some of the fantastic magnets we made at our last workshops – old atlas magnets and vintage story book magnets.
Leading up to Christmas I got myself super organised and made an enormous batch of these little cuties for presents. I then made them into pendant necklaces, brooches, magnets, hair clips and rings. The finished results are cheap, fun to make and are a great, unique gift idea for family and friends. So here is a step by step tutorial for you to have a go at making your own.
