It’s the little things in life that really matter. Lately I’ve been trying to take loads of pictures of the every day things, the small details, the minutiae of daily life. Because really this is the stuff that matters the most. It’s easy to fall into the pattern of only lugging the camera out for the birthday parties, christmas and other big events but I am trying to keep my good SLR camera in my bag everywhere I go to grab those moments that I might otherwise miss.
We try as a family to get the work/family balance right and to fit as much as we can in with our children while they are still young – be it the beach, parks, music, silliness, road trips … so I thought I might share with you some images of our life together and the things and places that make us smile.
Be sure to take time to enjoy the things in life that matter the most. This post is in memory of Kathreen Ricketson from WhipUp (one of the pioneering women of the online crafting community and an absolute inspiration to me) and her partner Rob Shugg.
